Minding Me Program in Schools

Minding Me in Schools – A Mindfulness Experience Built for Today’s Learners

Bring the Power of Mindfulness to Your School Community

The Minding Me program is an in-school mindfulness curriculum designed specifically for K–3rd grade students in underserved communities. We combine emotional regulation strategies, trauma-informed teaching, and engaging, culturally relevant activities to help young learners understand their feelings and respond in healthy, empowered ways.

Through weekly sessions led by trained facilitators, students learn how to breathe through frustration, name their emotions, and develop calming strategies that improve classroom behavior and boost social-emotional confidence.

Why Bring Minding Me to Your School?

✔️ Improves Emotional Regulation
Students learn to pause, reflect, and respond—not react—reducing classroom disruptions and conflict.
✔️ Trauma-Informed & Culturally Relevant
Created for the realities of today’s students, especially Black and Brown children navigating stress and adversity.
 ✔️ Supports Educators Too
Teachers report calmer classroom climates and improved student focus after our sessions.
✔️ Engaging, Interactive Lessons
Our sessions blend movement, play, mindfulness, and storytelling so students stay excited while they learn.
 ✔️ Parent Connection
Includes take-home newsletters so families can reinforce emotional skills outside of school.
