Niema Golphin – Founder & Lead Facilitator
Niema is a certified mindfulness coach, author, and former school leader with over 18 years of experience in education. With a B.A. in Physical Education and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership, she has served in roles ranging from classroom teacher to director of culture, supporting students from elementary schools to colleges and universities.
Niema created the Minding Me program to equip young students with the emotional regulation tools she wished she had growing up. Known for her calming presence and practical classroom management strategies, she helps both students and teachers build emotional resilience through accessible, culturally responsive mindfulness practices.
Her passion for this work is deeply personal. As the mother of a child diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, Niema used her knowledge and early intervention skills to advocate for her son’s needs. That experience continues to fuel her commitment to ensuring other children and educators receive the training and support they deserve.
Niema believes that when teachers are well, students thrive—and her mission is to make that a reality in every classroom she touches.
